Dear friends,
Today I will tell you about an exciting fishing trip to Byglandsfjord from last summer.
We are a small group of boys – a team that sometimes goes fishing together. Last summer we decided to go on a fishing trip with our children. For this purpose, we chose a place that is suitable for both fishing and entertainment for children.
Byglandsfjord this is not a fjord on Norway’s coastline. In fact, it is a a village near a large water basin along the Otra River.
It is located in Setesdal and Agder. The lake is about 40 km long. It can be reached by road E9 from Kristiansand to the north in the direction of Hovden.
We booked a large 5 bedroom villa at the Neset camping, right on the lake shore. This is a quiet place, a paradise for campers and children. There are many possibilities here. You can rent boats or pedal boats, many facilities for children are available as well. Here you can also find a small grocery store, where you can buy the most necessary stuffs.
The beauty of this place is impressive. This small peninsula surrounded by water is really charming.
This is a very popular place and if you arrive by ferry to Kristiansand, then only a few meters to the port is the detour on the road E9, which you take and after 1 hour and 10 minutes you have arrived at this magical place.
To be continued……
