After a lot of trips and fishing challenges we obviously did not have the same experience as locals. There was lot we had to learn about this beautiful society. We met some who has lived here for many years and had become citizens of this country. They were people with more experience than us, and they were better accustomed to these latitudes.
We became close friends, and the man turned out to be a fisherman, with a lot of experience. My wife and I we admitted that we were excited by fishing although we were beginners. Smiling my friend looked on my equipment, our to fishing rods at first please. He asked if I really wanted to have a hobby like fishing. I was pleased to hear at someone like him could take me a little deeper into the matter. But he warned me that for the purpose I had to invest a little bit more in fishing equipment, may by gradually. For a beginning he would help me to choose a god fishing rod, reel, and everything else I would need to practice this exciting hobby.
He took me to the fishing shop and helped to buy a much better rod, reel, and fibre. A few fishing lures with different colours and weight were purchased as well.
Finally, I had something better. The new Barclay rod and Abu Garcia reel a had already an enthusiastic owner. It was quite universal equipment to use for both sea and freshwater fishing.
All I had to do was try them out.
